Question 1

What file formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Analyze Mix accepts WAV, AIFF, and MP3 (up to 500 MB). Mastering and stem sessions accept the same formats. The upload screens in the app list accepted types for each workflow.

Question 2

How long does analysis take?

Accepted Answer

Typically under a minute per mix. You get results as soon as processing completes.

Question 3

What is DSP Auto-Fix?

Accepted Answer

DSP Auto-Fix applies targeted corrections from your analysis: stem DSP fixes, stereo mix DSP, and mastering DSP renders all require Pro. You can download processed audio from the app where your plan allows.

Question 4

What's included on Free vs paid plans?

Accepted Answer

Free includes stereo mix analysis with monthly limits. Starter adds PDF reports. Pro adds stem sessions (including stem DSP), mastering, mix & mastering DSP Auto-Fix, Ask About My Mix, and MCP integration (connect Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools). See Subscription in the app for current limits.

Question 5

What's the difference between Mozonic, Mozonic Studio and Mozonic Agent?

Accepted Answer

Mozonic is the web app (also available as a Mac app): upload a finished mix or stems for analysis, fixes and mastering. Mozonic Studio is a full digital audio workstation for Mac with an AI assistant built in. Mozonic Agent is a companion for Ableton Live 12 that works inside your Live Set instead of replacing your DAW. They share one account.

Question 6

Is Mozonic Studio really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The DAW is free on every plan, including Free, and needs no account. Recording, editing, mixing, plugins and exporting cost nothing. Only the cloud AI features — the assistant, cloud analysis and music generation — use credits: Starter includes 500 a month, Pro 2,000, and any plan can buy credit packs.

Question 7

Does Mozonic Studio work on Windows or Intel Macs?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Mozonic Studio and Mozonic Agent need macOS 12 Monterey or later on Apple silicon (M1 or newer). Windows is planned. The Mozonic desktop app for mix analysis runs on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Question 8

Which plugins does Mozonic Studio support?

Accepted Answer

VST3 and Audio Unit, instruments and effects. Plugins run outside the audio engine in sandboxed processes grouped by manufacturer, so if one crashes, that vendor's plugins pass audio through and the rest of your session keeps playing.

Question 9

What do I need to use Mozonic Agent?

Accepted Answer

A Mozonic Pro plan, Ableton Live 12, and a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 12 or later. The Agent is in Beta. Setup is: install the Remote Script from the app, restart Live, then choose MozonicAgent as a Control Surface in Live's Link, Tempo & MIDI settings.

Question 10

Will the AI change my session without asking?

Accepted Answer

Not by default. In Studio, suggestions arrive as cards you can A/B-preview, accept or decline, and each accepted change is one undo step; an optional Auto mode applies suggestions automatically if you turn it on. In the Agent, every edit is a card you accept or modify, and accepted edits land as a single Live undo step.
