It measures, then it suggests
The assistant reads your session and measures the audio on your machine — true peak, an 8-band spectrum, stereo width and correlation, loudness range — before it proposes anything. Suggestions come with the numbers behind them.
Preview it, keep it, or don't
Proposals arrive as cards. A/B-preview one to hear it against what you had, then accept or decline. By default nothing changes until you accept, and every accepted change is a single undo step.
Your plugins, outside the engine
VST3 and Audio Unit plugins run in sandboxed processes grouped by manufacturer. If one crashes, that vendor's plugins pass audio through and the rest of your session keeps playing.
A complete DAW, not a demo
Multitrack recording with take lanes and comping, MIDI with a piano roll, built-in instruments and effects, automation, sidechain, a tempo map, and no track limit.
Mastering in the same window
A master chain with streaming, loud, club and broadcast targets, and an assistant that can prepare and audit a master against them.
Generate parts that fit the song
Music generation with Lyria and Stable Audio, briefed with your session's tempo, key, sections and chords. You see exactly what will be uploaded before anything leaves your Mac.
No account needed for the DAW
Recording, editing, mixing, plugins and export never need a sign-in or a connection. Sign in only when you want the cloud AI features.
Updates itself
New versions download in the background and install when you quit.
Good to know before you download
- •macOS 12 Monterey or later, Apple silicon (M1 or later). Intel Macs and Windows are not supported yet.
- •Loudness is shown as an approximate integrated value. Use a dedicated meter if you need a certified EBU R128 reading.
- •MP3 export needs the free LAME encoder installed (brew install lame). WAV and other formats work out of the box.
- •It does not separate stems from a finished song, and it does not open projects from other DAWs.
The DAW is free on every plan, with no account. The AI features use credits: Starter includes 500 a month, Pro 2,000, and any plan can buy more.
