Software Licence Agreement

Installing or using either application means you accept this agreement. Each app also asks you to accept it once, on first run. If you do not accept it, do not install the software.

Mozonic grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the software on computers you control, for your own work, while your Mozonic account is in good standing. The licence is tied to your account, not to a machine: install on as many of your own computers as you like, but do not share an account so that more than one person uses it.

AI features in both apps consume credits. The Free plan includes none; see the Credits & Billing Policy.

• •Third-party plugins and instruments. Mozonic hosts VST3 and Audio Unit plugins you have installed; you license those from their vendors. Mozonic does not read, manage, provide or circumvent iLok, PACE or any other plugin licensing system, and cannot authorise a plugin on your behalf.
• •Ableton Live. Mozonic Agent controls Live; it does not include it. Live is licensed by Ableton AG. Mozonic is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Ableton AG, and “Ableton” and “Live” are their trademarks.
• •Third-party content you import, and anything you make with it.

You own your projects, recordings, exports and settings. Mozonic claims no rights in them. Features that send data to the cloud do so only when you invoke them, as described in the AI & Data Use Policy.

Your local work never depends on your subscription. Mozonic Studio opens, edits, plays and exports your projects whether or not you are signed in, paid up, or online. Entitlements are cached with a 14-day offline grace period, and losing them disables cloud and AI features only — never your own files.

Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except to the extent law expressly permits; redistribute, rent, sublicense or resell it; remove or alter notices; bypass or tamper with entitlement, credit or usage checks; resell or proxy access to the Mozonic AI gateway; or use the software to create material that infringes someone else’s rights.

The AI assistant proposes changes and, unless you enable auto-apply, applies them only when you accept. Every applied change is one undo step. Even so:

• •Measurements, analyses and recommendations may be wrong.
• •Applied edits change your project. Keep your own backups.
• •Nothing the software outputs is professional advice about your release.
• •Protect your hearing and your monitors. Processing, generation and plugin behaviour can produce sudden loud output. Set safe levels.

Updates

The apps update themselves in the background and install the update when you quit. By using them you consent to automatic updates. Mozonic may stop supporting older application versions, older macOS versions, or older Ableton Live versions.

The software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Mozonic does not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will work with any particular plugin, interface or DAW, or that results will meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mozonic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost sessions, lost recordings or corrupted project files. Mozonic’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Mozonic in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

You may stop using the software at any time by uninstalling it. Mozonic may suspend or terminate this licence if you breach it. On termination, stop using the software — your project files remain yours and remain openable, and nothing on your computer is deleted.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Mozonic may update this agreement. Material changes are announced in-app and by updating the date above; continued use after a change means acceptance.
